The project

The 'Sustainable agriculture for sub-Saharan Africa - Solanum aethiopicum improvement' project (SASSA-SAI) aims to improve the production of the African eggplant, Solanum aethiopicum, an important indigenous African crop.

SASSA-SAI is a project between four African partner organisations and NIAB in the UK.
