Research interests
Hilary Papworth is Senior Technical Manager with 24 years' experience of delivering trials on behalf of commercial clients and governmental bodies.
Hilary has a background in agriculture and horticulture and works with our team of expert growers to deliver specialist glasshouse growing services to commercial and research organisations. The team has a track record in product testing, research projects, seed production, and genetic resource maintenance. Hilary works closely with clients to establish requirements and design bespoke protocols, and has a strong focus on traceability and quality management in trial design.
One of Hilary's major roles is the delivery of Plant Breeder's Rights (PBR) trials on Ornamental crops on behalf APHA (National Rights) and the CPVO (EU Rights). Hilary has broad experience in a wide range of different crops and testing methods in the area of PBR.
