Park Farm underwent redevelopment in 2018 and 2024, with four main buildings containing research laboratories and offices, crop and seed cold storage facilities, and analytical services laboratories.

Barn 1 - The Powell Building - with reception and delivery facilities Barn 1 is also home to Niab's agronomy and farming systems specialists (arable, field veg and potatoes), crop characterisation team, crop transformation and pathology departments, genetics and breeding teams, and membership and communications teams. The Official Seed Testing Station laboratories are also based in the building.

Barn 2 - The Barsby Building - includes offices and laboratories for analytical services, including Niab Labtest, and crop transformation laboratories.

Barn 4 - originally built in 2021 as a purpose built facility for start-up agritech businesses, the unit has five ground floor laboratories to cater for all types of requirement, from wet and dirty through to a clean space and one laboratory fitted out for food preparation. Niab's business services teams are based in Barn 4, including finance, HR, IT and facilities.

Barn 5 is dedicated to larger field produce, and includes wash-out facilities, industrial drying ovens, an autoclave and state-of-the-art grading facilities or all available. A vertical farming unit is located next to Barn 5.

The Cambridge trials team, based at the nearby Whitehouse Lane Farm accessed from Huntingdon Road, manages 250 ha of commercial cropping and field trials both on-site (stretching across to Park Farm) and locally, including satellite sites at nearby Hinxton. The Whitehouse Lane site also includes the Niab Seed Handling Unit (SHU).
