The aim of the Bio4safe project is to reduce water and fertiliser use in horticulture using biostimulants and innovative sensors tools.
We wanted to share the outcomes of the project with growers, agronomists, researchers, biostimulant producers, legislators and all other stakeholders.

Ellen Dams, PCS ornamental plant research, Belgium
Since 2019 she has been working within the field of biostimulant and sensor use in the horticultural sector. She is the coordinator and the point of contact if you want to know more about the project.
Matevz Papp-Rupar, NIAB EMR, East Malling, UK
He is leading the research on the use of sensors and biostimulants in commercial strawberry and raspberry production and co-supervises the development of the biostimulant database and web-app.
Seppe Top, University of Ghent, Belgium
He is a PhD researcher, specialised in analysis and interpretation of sap flow, stem and leaf diameter sensor data.
