NIAB is a pioneering plant science organisation based at the heart of the Cambridge science, technology and university communities and a thriving UK agricultural industry.
With over 90 years experience in the agricultural and food sectors, NIAB has an internationally recognised reputation for independence, innovation and integrity. Our traditional activities have always focused on science-led plant variety and seeds characterisation, evaluation, quality control and knowledge transfer
The delivery of successful field trials is one of the most crucial elements of NIAB’s operational activities. It is achieved by dedicated teams at our regional centres. To ensure that our high standards are maintained we require the support of an agency that can provide agricultural temporary workers.
Responses are sought from agencies seeking to become the preferred supplier of temporary agricultural workers to NIAB for the period 1st August 2012 – 1st March 2015.
Responses should include:-
- Relevant examples of work undertaken by your organisation
- Hourly rates
- Proof of licensing from the Gangmasters Licensing Authority
- Geographical area covered
- Terms and conditions
Responses should be sent marked for the attention of the Project Manager, NIAB, Huntingdon Road, Cambridge, CB3 0LE. The closing date is 16th July 2012.
